Brusnikina: “The Chechen synchronized swimming championship in Yekaterinburg was also a test start before the Friendship Games, there are no complaints”

President of the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation Olga Brusnikina told that the organization had no complaints about holding the national championship in Yekaterinburg, which will host the aquatic competitions during the Friendship Games.

The April Russian Championship was the first big start of Russian synchronized swimming at the Palace of Aquatic Sports in Yekaterinburg.

— From the point of view of the level of performance, we had a very good championship. We set ourselves the task of organizing it also as a test event for our sport before the Friendship Games, checking the interaction with regional authorities, checking the interaction with all services of the Palace of Aquatic Sports .

— It’s a new swimming pool, is everything arranged as you would like?

— There are no complaints here regarding convenience and comfort. I wish there were bigger stands, even if we have to fill these stands first. We will work on this,” Brusnikina told .

The Friendship Games will take place in September 2024 in Moscow and Yekaterinburg.
