About the best personalities and main figures of the tour – here.
INRatar – Stanislav Kozlov (Gornyak-Sport)
Nine out of ten shots on target were parried by 17-year-old Kozlov, who successfully replaced the injured Shukhman. In Uzhgorod, where Metalist hosted Gornyak-Sport, Stanislav coped with the attacks of Ryazantsev, Isaenko and Sinchuk, boldly threw himself at the opponents’ feet and played to intercept serves and crosses. An away victory preserves his team’s chances of retaining first-league registration.
- Best in the Champion Group: Roman Zhmurko (Epicenter)
EtcFirst defender – Yuriy Kozyrenko (Ingulets)
We have already noted the successful transfer of Kozyrenko from midfield to defense. The match against Agribusiness, which has strong flanks, was a real test for Yuri. First of all, we note that Kozyrenko performed successfully in defense – on interceptions, tackles, and when covering opponents (Galenkov, Volkov, and later Kasimov played significantly below the usual level). And in the attacking game, Yuri has traditionally been effective. Case in point: a pre-goal directing pass in the third scoring combination.
- Best in Elimination Group: Gleb Savchuk (Podolia)
TseCentral defender – Stanislav-Nuri Malysh (Ingulets)
Agribusiness in the first round of the second stage defeated Ingulets, the Volochishchan attack group, combining the speed of the flanks and the power component of the defender Voytikhovsky, who systematically plays in the attack for Chizhevsky, caused great problems to the defense of the Petrovites. In the home match, Ingulets’ defensive line took revenge on their opponents. The kid played convincingly in defense, and with another long strand on Sitalo’s move he launched the second effective attack.
- Best in Elimination Group: Maxim Demchuk (Niva, Ternopil)
Tsecentral defender – Daniil Arkusha (Kremin)
Bukovina even returned leading scorer Palagnyuk to the match with the Kremenchu team. He, Andreychuk, Goncharuk, Budnyak tried to create something at the visitors’ goal, but Kremin did not concede on the road for the first time since July last year. The duo of centerbacks Dudnik and Arkusha played well. These powerful players have won a lot of fights and clearly countered the dangerous Chernivtsi attackers. Danilo, in particular, blocked Budnyak’s shot and several times got ahead of Palagnyuk at the decisive moment, not even allowing a shot.
- Best in Elimination Group: Yuri Kravchuk (Victoria)
Lefirst defender – Artem Semka (Prykarpattya)
Prykarpattya ended a difficult trip to the capital arena “Left Bank” with an acceptable draw result. This is largely due to the flank work of the guests, because the Kogut brothers, Wojciechowski, Mysik are surprisingly dangerous counterparts, but this time they played less brightly and effectively. In addition to the actual defensive work, Semka tried to support attacks through his left line. It was he who, after a timely transfer from Tsyutsyura, successfully shot at the goal, and Soloviev corrected the ball into the net.
- Best in the Champion Group: Valery Rogozinsky (Kudrovka-Niva)
Tsecentral midfielder – Daniil Falkovsky (Kudrovka-Niva)
The Kudrovka-Niva coaching staff did an exemplary job in Poltava, promptly responding to the difficult course of events and coming back after conceding two goals. One of the two substitutions before the break was midfielder Falkowski, who appeared on the field together with Machelyuk in the 29th minute. He immediately got involved in his team’s combination play, interacted well in the opposing half of the field, and provided an assist to Korkishko for the visitors’ crucial first goal. At the end of the match, after a violation against Rogozinsky, Falkovsky scored the winning goal from the penalty spot.
- Best in Elimination Group: Dmitry Mironenko (FC Chernigov)
Etcav midfielder – Vladislav Shkolny (FC Chernihliv)
After two consecutive defeats, FC Chernigov survived the most distant trip to Transcarpathia – and managed to break a long winless streak in a match with the Khustians, because in 2024 the tigers had not yet won on foreign fields. This was facilitated by successful changes in the coaching staff, in particular, the nominal defender Shkolny played in midfield – becoming the real hero of the match. First, Vladislav returned the advantage to his team, after a long pass from Shumil and uncoordinated play from the opponents, he overthrew the goalkeeper, and then set the final score after a cross from another hero of the match, Bezgubchenko.
- Best in the Champion Group: Evgeniy Podlepenets (Carpathians)
Atoffensive midfielder – Arsentiy Doroshenko (Nyva, Ternopil)
The young Cossacks held on for almost the entire half, but in the second half they faltered after the hosts’ attacks. The first role in Niva’s middle line was played by Doroshenko. With his serve, Galadey doubled the Ternopil team’s lead immediately after the break, then Arsentiy himself completed the correct combination with the participation of Golub and Riznyk. And the final score was established after the transfer from Doroshenko to Riznyk.
- Best in the Champion Group: Egor Demchenko (Carpathians)
Lefirst midfielder – Maxim Kulish (Podolia)
Against Dinaz, one of his former clubs, Kulish played his best matches of the season. It was he who created the second goal, laying out a pass under the touch to Orobets, and then scored himself, dealing with the opponents after passing with a pass from Miserzhi. Maxim repeatedly outplayed his opponents one-on-one, giving good field goals and set-pieces. The victory over Vyshgorod returned Podolia to first place in the Elimination group – two rounds before the finish of the regular championship, this is already serious.
- Best in the Champion Group: Dmitry Korkishko (Kudrovka-Niva)
Onfalling – Andriy Riznyk (Niva, Ternopil)
Riznyk replaced Galadei, who opened the scoring and generally worked well for the hour of the match against Metallurg. But Andrey did everything so that the rest of the time did not remain just formal. Riznyk surprisingly actively entered the game, after five minutes on the field he was not greedy, but gave an assist to Doroshenko on the empty corner of the goal. He repeatedly escalated the game and put an end to the match around the third attempt, starting with a through pass and doing everything according to science.
- Best in the Champion Group: Dmitry Shcherbak (SK Poltava)
Onfalling – Vyacheslav Studenko (Gornyak-Sport)
He replaced Nizhnik in the 75th minute and 10 minutes later turned the match against Metalist around. First, Studenko received an excellent diagonal from Mukhamatgaleev on the corner of the goalkeeper’s area and dealt well with the goalkeeper, and six minutes later he managed to finish off Posevkin’s free kick. For Vyacheslav, who in the first part of the season played for the outsider of the Second League (Nikolaev Vast), this is a very important match to take place at a higher level.
- Best in the Champion Group: Daniil Kravchuk (Epicenter)

For the first time, the Khmelnytskys single-handedly led the “Elimination” group (before that they came out on top with equal points with Bukovina). Thanks to a crushing victory over Dinaz and Chernivtsi’s misfire in the home match with Kremen (0:1), Kostyshin’s team took the lead with one point advantage, which is very important two rounds before the finish. Podolia won all four home matches in 2024 and managed to play brightly and effectively in a match that was no less important for its competitors.
Analysis from the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches – Here.

What a tour for jokers! Just a list: goals or assists after substitutions were scored by Sergei Miserzhi (Podolia), Daniil Falkovsky (Kudrovka-Niva), Dzhilindo Bezgubchenko (FC Chernihiv), Yuri Tlumak and Egor Demchenko (Karpaty), Vyacheslav Studenko and Vladislav Mukhamatgaleev (Gornyk Sport), Alex Chidomere (Metalist), Andrey Riiznyk (Niva). Falkovsky’s most significant contribution to the strong-willed victory was assisting Korkishko on the crucial first goal in Poltava and scoring the winning goal himself from a late penalty.
- Sport Arena statistics: 21 league matches, 3 goals, 1 assist.

After returning to the Carpathians, Tlumak Jr. started all over again and has now taken a significant step to win the favor and trust of Markevich. At the most important moment, when the leadership of the Lviv team was in question, 21-year-old Tlumak scored the winning goal against FSK Mariupol. During this trip, Yuri received 19 minutes plus injury time and took full advantage of the opportunity to prove himself.
- Sport Arena statistics: 3 matches in the championship, 1 goal.
And by the way, we have quite a spectacular tour! A cool free kick from Mariupol’s Savin, a juicy shot after a discount from Ternopil’s Kitsun into the top corner, an own goal by Epicenter goalkeeper Zhmurko after a well-aimed long-range shot from Sumy’s Lebedenko. The funny heads alone on this tour could fill a hit parade! But you only need to choose one. Well, let’s pay tribute to the art of taking set pieces, the goal is really very beautiful. We quote the report: “In an optional situation, Klimenko touched Petrovsky, and Savin, with his right foot, converted this free kick from the left flank – 1:1. For Anton, this is his debut goal for the new team, where he moved after playing for LNZ (with this club he reached the UPL).”
The goal can be seen on video at 3:27

Read later on our website an interview with the player who scored a double in the victorious match with Metalist – his team won a strong-willed victory in a difficult away game after the wild card double.
- Sport Arena statistics: 7 league matches, 3 goals.
