The Croatian Figure Skating Federation has informed the International Skating Union (ISU) that it will not be able to organize the European Figure Skating Championships in 2025, according to the ISU website.
It is worth noting that Croatia will not host the tournament due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
The European Championships were to be held in Zagreb from January 20 to 26. The ISU Council has once again begun accepting applications to host the tournament. The application deadline is May 24 at the latest.
The last time the Croatian capital hosted the European Championship was in 2013.
