Shishchenko: Three points are important, we are fighting for European competition

Acting head coach Polesie Sergey Shishchenko was pleased with the victory over Krivbass (1:0) in the 28th round match that lasted two days Ukrainian Premier League.

Yes, it was unexpected for Krivbass, but we took advantage of it and scored a goal and had a great part of the match yesterday. Krivbass also made adjustments, we reacted to this. I’m very grateful that we had good transitions, could still score and played very well defensively.”

“There are still 2 very difficult matches ahead with an unmotivated Shakhtar and a motivated Metalist. But we also have motivation to move towards our goal, towards the tasks set by the president.”
