Athletistic/ Figure skating. Choreographer Ilya Averbukh noted that he was not against inviting Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva to his show if the athlete is ready to perform.
“I had plans for Camila, I would be happy if she starred in the show, I would be happy to invite her if she agreed to come on,” Averbukh told TASS.
Recall that Valieva was disqualified for violating anti-doping rules. The suspension is effective from the end of December 2021. The figure skater was stripped of all adult tournament titles.
Valieva will be able to return to the ice no earlier than December 25, 2025. It is unknown whether the ward of Eteri Tutberidze will then want to continue her career.
