Head coach Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti stated that in the remaining matches of the Spanish championship he plans to provide playing time to both of his key goalkeepers – Andrey Lunin And Thibaut Courtois.

“The situation is clear. I have to give Lunin minutes. In our remaining two matches, one will play Lunin and the other Courtois,” said the Italian.

Courtois started for the match with Alaves in the 36th round of Examples (5:0). The Belgian kept a clean sheet in all three matches after returning to the field.

Real Madrid’s Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin remained on the bench. Andrey last played on May 8 in the return match of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern (2:1).

The question of the main goalkeeper for the Champions League final remains open. It was previously reported that Ancelotti intends to field Courtois in the match against Borussia Dortmund. Club President Florentino Perez also believes that the Blancos lineup will be more balanced with Thibaut present.
