Rebrov: Mudryk, wearing a national team jersey, will never think about anything other than victory

Coach of the Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov spoke about the need for a positive microclimate in the national team. Separately, the coach expressed his opinion about the team leader, Mikhail Mudrik.

“When football players come to the national team camp, they forget about their clubs. Problems in clubs are problems of clubs. Almost all players have them.”

“Mudrik helped us a lot in the last matches, despite the criticism of the fans. He is a patriot of Ukraine. And when he wears the national team’s jersey, he will never think about anything other than victory.”

The Ukrainian national football team will begin preparations for the 2024 European Championship on May 30 in Nuremberg. On June 12, our national team will move west to Wiesbaden, the base city of the blue-yellows during the continental championship.

The permanent location of the Ukrainian national team at Euro 2024 will be the city of Wiesbaden, the capital of the federal state of Hesse in western Germany, located next to Mainz and Darmstadt, not far from Frankfurt.

Before this, Sergei Rebrov’s team will play three friendly matches: on June 3 with Germany (in Nuremberg), on June 7 with Poland (away) and on the 11th with Moldova in Chisinau.

At the group stage of the European Championship, the blue-yellows will successively play with the teams of Romania (June 17), Slovakia (June 21) and Belgium (June 26). The matches will take place in Munich, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart, respectively.

Ukraine will play at the European Championships for the fourth time. The blue-and-yellows have consistently competed in the finals of the continental championship since 2012.

Euro 2024 will take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The matches of the European Championship will be held in arenas in Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.
