French figure skater Brian Joubert told he considered the Russian Kamila Valieva favorite figure skater and regrets the doping scandal that concerns her.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) suspended Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The International Skating Union (ISU) reset the athlete’s results from the date the sample was collected.
