The Ukrainian national team without Beloded will compete at the 2024 World Judo Championships

Daria previously received minor injuries

Judo Federation of Ukraine announced the composition of the national team for World Cup 2024which will take place in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

One of the team leaders will not go to the competition Daria Beloded. The athlete had previously received minor injury, which is why it was decided not to take risks ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games.

Composition of the Ukrainian judo team for the 2024 World Championships

Women: Elizaveta Litvinenko, Yulia Kurchenko (up to 78 kg).

Men: Artem Lesyuk (up to 60 kg), Bogdan Yadov, Nikita Goloborodko (up to 66 kg), Mikhail Svidrak (up to 81 kg), Anton Savitsky (up to 100 kg), Evgeniy Balevsky (over 100 kg).

The tournament will be the final competition for Olympic qualification. Mikhail Svidrak, Anton Savitsky and Evgeniy Balevsky still have a chance to earn a ticket to the 2024 Games.

The competition will begin on May 19, with women in the up to 48 and 52 kilogram categories, as well as men in the up to 60 kilogram category. The tournament will end on May 23.
