The Russians, by decision of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), are suspended from competitions of departures under the auspices of this organization until the end of 2022 on the background of the situation with Ukraine. Synchronized swimming competitions at the Friendship Games in Kazan will start on July 30, where the first team will perform.
– There were options to invite the Chinese team, but, I think, after the World Cup, where they won, come to Russia … And who will be the first? World champions or what? The Chinese are a very wise people. Of course we miss them. There would be a strong duel,” Pokrovskaya told reporters.
