President Gornyakov congratulated the team on winning the golden double
The president Shakhtar Rinat Akhmetov met with other club leaders – the general director Sergei Palkinsports director Dario Srnoihead coach of the team Marino Pusic and his assistant Mario Stanic. Akhmetov congratulated his mentor and team on winning the golden double.

Let us remind you that Shakhtar beat Vorskla in the Cup final with a score of 2:1, and in the first half, with the score 0:0, Riznyk took a one-on-one performance from Ibrahim Kane. Thanks to this success, the Pitmen surpassed Dynamo in the number of Ukrainian Cups won – 14 versus 13.
Prior to this, Pusic’s team managed to win the championship title ahead of schedule, defeating Dynamo in a head-to-head confrontation. Until the end of the season, Shakhtar has two matches left to play – both away, against Dnepr-1 and Polesie.
