The blue-yellows lost four sets in the control match
Ukrainian men’s volleyball team lost Poland in the final sparring before Golden Euroleague 2024 – 0:4.
The blue-yellows lost the first two sets with a difference of four points, and in the third they lost with a minimal gap of two points. Next, the teams played the previously agreed fourth set, which the Poles won with a score of 25:15.
Before the fight with Poland, Vladislav Shchurov suffered a calf joint injury. The blocker will miss the Golden Euroleague matches.
In the first sparring under the leadership of Raul Lozano, the blue-yellows lost to the German national team (1:3). Let us remind you that the Argentine coach had to do without Oleg Plotnitsky, Vasily Tupchiy and several other players who, for various reasons, refused to come to the location of the national team.
The Ukrainian national team will start in the 2024 Golden Euroleague with a match against Romania on May 18. The next day, the blue-yellows will meet with the Azerbaijani team.
