Lunev: How long the vacation will last, the coach will tell you after the game with Minai

Krivbass midfielder Maxim Lunev spoke about the meeting with Dynamo in Kyiv, and also shared his opinion about the upcoming European Cup matches.

— Maxim, before the start of the Dynamo-Krivbass game, the players of both teams were deprived of tournament motivation. What did you want to achieve in this meeting?

— Naturally, we wanted to win this match. It was a very difficult game – one on one in all parts of the field. Unfortunately, we failed to beat Dynamo.

— Already in the 6th minute of the match, Krivbass was losing with a score of 0:2. Why did it happen?

“The cob didn’t work out for us, I agree.” Not everything worked out for us at first. But then we scored one goal thanks to the efforts of Tverdokhlib, we could have scored more. The main thing is that we leveled the game.

— Was your team’s defensive performance in this match not at the highest level?

— There were some problems at the beginning and at the end of the fight.

— IN Bogdan Khoma made his debut in goal. What do you think of his performance?

— There were mistakes somewhere, but to make my debut in the UPL in the match with Dynamo is great. He really helped us out a couple of times. Congratulations to him on his debut in the elite division.

— Do you understand what level of opponent you will have in the Europa League in August?

— We roughly understand. There are no weak teams at this level. Let’s get serious.

— In order to play in the group tournament or the Europa League or the Conference League, you need to get past someone. Ukrainian teams have not always succeeded in this recently…

– I know that. Everything is real. We will try.

— How long will your vacation last?

– Do not know yet. Yuri Nikolaevich will say this after the 30th round match with Minai.

— Maxim, are you satisfied with your performance this season?

– You can always play better. In some places he looked better, in others the game was not going well.
