Veres tied with Alexandria in the home match of the 29th round Ukrainian Premier League – 2:2.
The guests opened the scoring in the first half, Nikolai Mikhailenko converted a penalty. The hosts quickly bounced back thanks to a goal from Vitaly Dakhnovsky. And four minutes later, Evgeniy Morozko scored the second goal.
The hosts failed to maintain the winning score. Towards the end of the meeting, Mikhailenko scored a double and brought Alexandria a draw.
Veres is in 14th place, being in the play-off zone for the right to compete in the elite next season. Alexandria is in 11th place.
In the next match, Veres will play with the outsider Metalist 1925, Alexandria will meet with Obolon. The UPL final round matches are scheduled for May 25.
