Figure skater Yegor Rukhin told that he has already organized sports programs for the upcoming season.
On May 4, Rukhin told that he left the group of coaches Alexey Vasilevsky and Yulia Lavrenchuk and joined Alexey Chetverukhin.
— How is your adaptation to the new team going?
– Everything is fine, we are training. There’s only one last week left and I’m going on vacation. We have already managed to stage free and short programs. We are working on it and preparing for the coming season. Literally a week after the transition, we started productions. The work was very fruitful.
— Who made the programs?
– Short film Sergey Aleksandrovich (Rozanov), free – joint work of Anastasia Nikolaevna (Kazakova) and choreographers from the technical staff. Regarding the short, I can say that it is something new for me and for figure skating in general. From the free program I can say that the music is not something new, but I wanted to skate there for a long time, so I think everything will turn out well. Hopefully everything will work out.
— How do you like working with the new technical staff?
— Everything is fine: the programs, the technical things. We work and work, no problems. Everything is interesting, I emphasize something new for me. I hope that next season everything will be better than before.
— Did you part ways with the previous coaching team without any hard feelings?
– Yes, he came, spoke, explained himself, offered flowers. Everyone wished each other good luck. “No scandalous moments,” Rukhin told .
Rukhin is 20 years old. He is a bronze medalist at the Russian Championship (2021). In the 2023/24 season he placed 6th and 10th during the stages of the Russian Grand Prix.
