Figure skater Yegor Rukhin told that he does not regret changing coaching staff frequently during his career.
On May 4, Rukhin told that he had left the group of coaches Alexey Vasilevsky and Yulia Lavrenchuk to join Alexey Chetverukhin. Previously, the skater also trained in the group of Eteri Tutberidze and the Evgeni Plushenko Academy.
— Many people think that frequent changes of coaches bother you.
– I don’t want to say anything on this subject. People write, it means there is some kind of interest in me. It is easy to say something about a person without knowing the internal situation and moments. Everyone has their own opinion, so stick to it.
— Do you regret any decisions in your career?
– I can not tell. I don’t know and I won’t know. As it should have happened, it did. There are no regrets about past decisions. I was confident in my actions.
— How should the next season go so that you are satisfied with it?
– First of all, so that I can show my maximum. Demonstrate stability, good skating. If it succeeds, then we can say that we are satisfied,” 20-year-old Rukhin told .
Rukhin is a bronze medalist at the Russian Championship (2021). In the 2023/24 season, he became 6th and 10th at the National Grand Prix stages in Krasnoyarsk and Omsk, respectively.
