In the grand final, the Dragons defeated Xtreme Gaming in strong style
Team Spirit became the winner of the tournament PGL Wallachia Season 1 By Dota 2. In the grand final, the Dragons achieved a strong-willed victory over the Chinese team Xtreme Gaming – 3:2.
Interestingly, on the way to the grand final, Xtreme Gaming did not lose a single map, winning all six matches with a score of 2:0. However, in the decisive confrontation, the Chinese team was still defeated.
For winning PGL Wallachia Season 1, Team Spirit received $300 thousand. Xtreme Gaming earned 175 thousand dollars. Third place went to Team Falcons (120 thousand).
Two players from Ukraine play for Team Spirit: Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov. The team is also represented by Russians Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov, Denis “Larl” Sigitov and coach Airat “Silent” Gaziev.
The PGL Wallachia Season 1 tournament took place on May 10-19 in Bucharest. 16 teams competed for a prize fund of $1 million.
