Short-handed Roma beat Genoa with Malinovsky in Serie A

The Ukrainian played his first match after injury

Roma won on home field Genoa V Serie Afinishing the match in the minority – 1:0.

In the first half, the hosts had the advantage, but did not get to any real scoring chances. After the break, Roma were left with ten men – Leandro Paredes received a red card. Already in the minority, Wolves managed to snatch victory thanks to a goal from Romelu Lukaku.

Ukrainian midfielder Genoa Ruslan Malinovsky came on as a substitute in the second half. The midfielder played for the first time since the end of March after recovering from a thigh injury.

Roma has 63 points and is in sixth place in Serie A. Genoa is in 11th place with 46 points.

In the next match, Roma will meet Empoli, and Genoa will host Bologna. The matches of the last round of Serie A will take place on May 26.
