Euro 2024 U-17 format
16 teams divided into four groups will play in the final part of the European Championship. The two best teams from each quartet will advance to the quarterfinals. The group round will be held in the format of a single-round tournament, each stage of the playoffs will consist of one match.
In addition to the Ukrainian national team, the following will perform at Euro 2024 U-17: Cyprus, Serbia and the Czech Republic, included in the same group with the blue-yellows; Denmark, Austria, Croatia, Wales (Group B); Italy, Sweden, Slovakia, Poland (Group C); France, Portugal, Spain, England (Group D).

The blue-yellows went through two rounds of qualification. In the first, we took third place in a quartet with Finland, Liechtenstein and Germany (four points). In the second, they won, gaining nine points in matches with Greece, Switzerland and Slovakia.

The blue-yellows will play in the finals of the European Championship for the seventh time. In all six previous tournaments, our youth team failed to leave the group. The last time our U-17 team was represented at the Euro was in 2017.

The Cyprus team will play in the final as the host of the tournament. For her, participation in the final part of the continental championship is her first in history.
The Serbian national team at Euro 2022 reached the semi-finals. In this draw, in matches with Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Georgia, Denmark and Turkey, the Serbs lost four points: a draw with the Slovenes and a defeat against the Danes.
The Czech Republic played in the final of the European Championship in 2006. In six matches of two qualifying tournaments for Euro 2024 with teams from Montenegro, Albania, Portugal, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poland, the Czechs won four victories, losing to the Portuguese and Poles.
