Brazil added three players to the Copa America and also replaced injured goalkeeper Ederson

The tournament will be held in the USA from June 20 to July 14

Head coach of the national team Brazil on football Dorival Junior took advantage of the expansion of the application list and called up three more players for the upcoming Copa America 2024which will take place in the USA.

Addition to the previously published list: defender Bremer (Juventus), midfielder Ederson (Atalanta) and winger Pepe (Porto). In addition, the injured goalkeeper Ederson from Manchester City was replaced by Raphael (Sao Paulo)

Recently, CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation) ratified the expansion of the squad lists for the Copa America from 23 to 26 players. Earlier, UEFA made a similar decision regarding Euro 2024.

The 2024 America’s Cup will be held in the United States from June 20 to July 14. The Brazilian national team will gather between May 30 and June 3 and will hold two sparring matches before the tournament: with Mexico (June 8) and the USA (June 12). Seleçao, coached by Dorival Junior, will have her home base in Orlando.
