Former Lokomotiv JVK coach: “Many players don’t understand that there are simply no better conditions than in Russia”

Former women’s volleyball coach “Locomotive” Radoslav Arsov compared the level of the Russian championship with that of European leagues, noting that the exodus of players has somewhat weakened the super league.

Russian clubs have been suspended from participating in European competitions due to the situation in Ukraine.

— The Russian championship is very, very difficult, difficult and long. You have to fight all the time, you can’t relax even for one match. Honestly, I was very surprised and I still don’t understand why many girls are now being deceived into going to play somewhere in Europe. And they do not understand that there are simply no better conditions than in Russia. Only if you’re not in the top five or six teams in Turkey or Italy. And in Russia, there is everything. We counted that 40 Russian volleyball players play abroad. There is nothing like this in men’s volleyball; as long as no one leaves, everyone stays here. And that is why the level of the Women’s Super League has fallen slightly, ”Arsov said according to the Championship.
