The blue-and-yellows, we remind you, started in the European Championship qualification with a confident victory over Kosovo (2:0), but after that they lost to Croatia (0:1) with a minimal score and after two rounds they are in third place in group B4. The group is headed by the Welsh team with the maximum points.

It is with the Welsh that Vladimir Pyatenko’s team will play the next two matches, on May 31 (away in Llaneli) and June 4 (in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Poland). The group stage for the Ukrainian team will end in July with matches against Kosovo (July 12) and Croatia (July 16).

The top two teams in League B, plus the top two second place teams, will face off against the remaining two second places and those finishing third. Accordingly, for the best seeding, it is advisable for blue-yellow to take first or second place in the quartet. The minimum task is not to become the last in the group.

The six teams that make it past this playoff threshold will play in the final qualifying stage against opponents from Path A and Path C. The top seven will ultimately qualify for the 2025 EURO. Two rounds of the playoffs will take place in October – December 2024.
