The blue and yellow will be represented in the women’s quadruple sculls
Team Ukraine got the third license V rowing for the upcoming Olympic Games 2024.
The blue-and-yellows successfully performed in the finals of the last qualifying regatta 2024 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Ukraine, consisting of Natalia Dovgodko, Ekaterina Dudchenko, Daria Verkhoglyad and Anastasia Kozhenkova, took second place, losing the gold to the USA. The gap between the teams was only 0.23 seconds.
Previous Olympic licenses in rowing belong to Evgenia Dovgodko, who will compete in the women’s single sculls. Igor Khmara and Stanislav Kovalev will also go to Paris. They will represent Ukraine in light double sculls.
In total, 102 athletes from Ukraine have already been selected for the Games in France, who will perform in 19 events.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 11. At the competitions, 329 sets of awards will be awarded in 32 sports.
