Knoroz became the winner in the pole vault at the Russian team championship in Sochi

Athlete Polina Knoroz became the winner of the pole vault competition at the Russian team championship.

The competition takes place in Sochi, Knoroz’s result was 4.73 meters. The second was Tatyana Kalinina (4.55 meters), the third was Aksana Gataullina (4.45).

Belarusian Violetta Skvortsova showed the best result in the long jump – 6.64 meters. Since Belarusian athletes participate in non-competitive competitions, Elena Sokolova took first place with a score of 6.61. Second place went to Ekaterina Levitskaya (6.56), bronze to Ramila Valitova (6.48).

In the women’s hammer throw, the best was the representative of Belarus Elena Soboleva (72.11 m). Elizaveta Tsareva was declared the winner (70.69), Anastasia Grigorieva won silver (68.68) and Alicia Naumova won bronze (67.89).

Alexey Khudyakov won the discus throw (62.10 meters). The second result was shown by Evgeniy Bogutsky from Belarus (59.85). In the end, the silver medalist was Alexander Dobrenky (58.53), the bronze went to Semyon Borodayev (57.51). Among women, Elena Panova won gold in the discus throw (60.55), the second result was shown by Maria Ogritsko (59.00), bronze by Violetta Ignatieva (58.95).
