“In total, this is already my 19th operation under general anesthesia, so I already know how to recover, how to prepare for performances,” Plushenko said according to Sport24.
Plushenko, 41, stressed that the operation was extremely difficult.
“The operation lasted five hours,” added the skater.
Remember that since the end of February 2022, Russian skaters have been suspended from international competitions.
