Derevyanchenko defeated Conley, snapping a three-game losing streak

The victory was awarded to the Ukrainian boxer by unanimous decision.

Former middleweight title contender Sergei Derevyanchenko (14-4, 10 KOs) successfully returned to the ring after a three-fight losing streak, defeating American Joshua Conley (17-4-1, 11 KOs ).

The ten-round fight took place on the night of July 30-31 in Brooklyn, New York, USA on the undercard of the fight between Danny Garcia and Jose Benavidez.

Derevyanchenko actively started the fight, but Conley managed to avoid serious injuries, and in one of the clinches in the first round, he even cut the Ukrainian. In the second three-minute period, the Ukrainian boxer scored a good combination, while in the next three-minute period, the American landed an accurate uppercut.

The battle took place almost at close quarters. In the second half of the fight, Derevyanchenko finally took the initiative, but Conley prevailed until the final gong.

As a result, the Ukrainian boxer won by unanimous decision of the judges – 98-92, 98-92, 99-91.

Thus, Derevyanchenko won his 14th fight out of 18 in the professional ring.
