Athlete Maria Kochanova became the winner of the Russian team championship in high jump.
The competition takes place in Sochi, Kochanova’s result is 1.93 meters. Second was Kristina Koroleva (1.91), with bronze going to Polina Parfenenko (1.91).
The best result in the triple jump was shown by the representative of Belarus Violetta Skvortsova – 14.85 meters. Since Belarusian athletes participate in competitions outside the competition, Daria Nidbaikina (14.27) was recognized as the champion. Ekaterina Koneva won silver (14.24), bronze went to Valeria Volovlikova (13.98).
In the women’s 4×400 meter relay, the Kursk region team won gold (3 minutes 31.07 seconds). The Moscow region took second place (3:35.63), the team from the Irkutsk region took bronze (3:36.89). The team from the Krasnodar region won the men’s event in this discipline (3.05.48). The team from the Ulyanovsk region won silver (3.08.86) and bronze in St. Petersburg (3.09.31).
