Runner Konstantin Krylov won the Russian team championship at a distance of 200 meters.
The competition takes place in Sochi, Krylov showed a result of 20.97 seconds. Andrey Lukin came second (20.99), Danil Roslyakov won the bronze medal (21.09).
In the women’s 200 meters, Natalya Kombarova finished first (23.21 seconds). Vera Filatova won the silver medal (23.69), the bronze went to Victoria Maksimova (23.71).
In the women’s shot put, the best result was shown by the representative of Belarus Alena Dubitskaya (18.62 meters). Another Belarusian, Elena Trus, came second with 17.90. Since Belarusian athletes participate in competitions outside the competition, Alena Gordeeva (17.75) became the winner of the gold medal. Snezhana Trofimets won silver (17.34), bronze went to Olga Batyreva (17.22).
Sergei Dubrovsky won the competition in 1500 meters, his result was 3 minutes 41.92 seconds. Vladimir Nikitin took silver (3:42.20), Konstantin Kholmogorov third (3:42.36).
