Swimmers competed in 12 sets of awards at the Children of Asia games on Sunday

On Sunday, July 31, as part of the VII International Sports Games “Children of Asia” in Vladivostok, 12 sets of medals in swimming were disputed.

At a distance of 400 meters freestyle among young men, the representative of Tatarstan Yaroslav Sokolovsky won (4 minutes 3.45 seconds), among girls, the athlete from this region Sofia Dyakova was also the best (4: 27 ,09).

In the 50-meter sprint freestyle, the best were Kirill Vasilovsky (Siberian Federal District, 23.72 seconds) and Vasilisa Malaeva (Moscow, 26.84).

Ivan Tarasov of the Far Eastern Federal District (56.56) won the men’s 100m backstroke, Kristina Markina (Siberian Federal District, 1:05.52) won the women’s 100m backstroke.

Muscovite Yegor Bakhur (1:04.17) and Taisiya Zolotenkova (1:14.37) won the heats of the 100m breaststroke.

Ivan Bobryshev (Moscow, 2:08.43) and Kristina Markina (2:23.76), who had previously won the 100m backstroke, were the best in the 200m medley.

The day’s swimming program ended with the 4 × 100 meter medley relay races, where the victory was won by the teams of the Siberian Federal District for boys (3.51.74) and Moscow for girls (4.25.39).
