Kazakhstan sent a request to the Russian Figure Skating Federation for the transfer of the 17-year-old figure skater, which the FFKKR approved.
According to Tarasova, everyone has the right to do what they want.
“If she strives to go, so be it. We are not interested in her. Samodelkina’s departure cannot be called a loss,” Tarasova told Sport24.
Since the end of February 2022, Russian figure skaters have been suspended from international tournaments.
