Lawrence knocked out Pole Ruzhanski in the first round
Former WBO world cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okoli (20-1, 15 KOs) celebrated his return to the ring with success.
Lawrence knocks out WBC bridgeweight champion with ease Lukas Ruzanski (15-1, 14 KOs). Thus, Okolie became the owner of the WBC belt. The event took place in Poland at the Podpromie Arena in Rzeszow.
Note that the fight lasted less than three minutes. In the first round, Okolie knocked down Lukas three times and triumphed by technical knockout.
Let us recall that Okolie fought his last fight in May 2023 against Chris Billam-Smith. Lawrence suffered the only defeat of his professional career, losing the WBO belt.
The 38-year-old Ruzanski has not lost a single fight to date, scoring 15 wins with 14 knockouts. In his last fight, the Pole defeated Croatian Alen Babic in April 2023, winning the WBC bridgeweight belt.
