Third victory in a row for Petkov’s team
Ukrainian women’s volleyball team figured it out without any problems Slovakia in his third match Euroleague Golden 2024 – 3:0.
In the first two sets, the opponents showed decent resistance to the Ukrainians, and in the third game, Ivan Petkov’s team won with an impressive margin.
Let us remind you that earlier in the tournament, Ukraine won a strong-willed victory over Slovenia (3:2), after which it beat Estonia in three sets (3:0). The blue-and-yellows are in second place in the division with eight points.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian women’s team is defending the title it won last year. In the final of the Golden Euroleague 2023, the Ukrainians beat Sweden (3:0). The finalists of the competition will advance to the 2024 Candidates’ Cup for the right to play in the Nations League. The last team in the table will be relegated to the Silver Euroleague. The Final Four will take place on June 15-16 in the Czech Republic.
In the next round of the 2024 Golden Euroleague, the Ukrainian women’s team will play against Austria, which lost all three of its matches at the start of the tournament.
