First defeat for Lozano’s team in the tournament
Men’s Ukrainian national volleyball team suffered the first defeat in the draw Euroleague Golden 2024. Team Raul Lozano conceded Czech Republic – 1:3.
In a bitter fight, Lozano’s team lost the first set, but then took revenge. The third game was categorically not in favor of Ukraine. In the fourth set, the blue-yellows again fought on equal terms, but the Czechs had a slightly better ending.
Having suffered their first defeat in three matches, Ukraine dropped to fifth place in the table. Let us remind you that earlier our team beat Romania (3:1) and dealt with Azerbaijan (3:0). The Czech Republic is one of two teams in the division (along with Croatia) that has not dropped points so far.
The blue-yellows will play their next match in the Golden Euroleague tomorrow, May 26, against the Luxembourg team.
