The Ukrainian won her debut award at the adult European Championships on her 16th birthday
Ukrainian Taisiya Onofriychuk became a bronze medalist Euro 2024 in rhythmic gymnastics in exercises with a hoop.
On her 16th birthday, the Ukrainian participated in three finals at once. And in exercises with a hoop, she managed to show the third result – Taisiya scored 34.900 points and climbed to the podium after the Bulgarians Boryana Kalein and Stilyana Nikolova.
This medal was the first for the young athlete at the adult European Championships. Until 2024, she competed at the junior level.
In exercises with a ball and ribbon, Taisiya was unable to repeat her successful result – eighth and sixth places, respectively.
Onofriychuk is performing successfully and productively at international competitions this spring. Let us remind you that at the Estonian Grand Prix the Ukrainian managed to win the final with clubs, and also took bronze in the final with the ball. At the next stage of the World Cup in Sofia, Taisiya won bronze in the exercises with a ribbon. A week later, she won three medals at once (silver and two bronze) at the World Cup in Baku.
