Men’s And Ukrainian women’s volleyball team played their fourth matches in Golden Euroleague 2024.
The men’s team confidently beat Luxembourg – 3:0. In the first set, the blue-yellows won with a nine-point advantage – 25:16; in the second and third games, Raul Lozano’s charges were stronger 25:19 and 25:20, respectively.
This is the third victory of Ukrainian volleyball players in the Golden Euroleague 2024. Earlier, the Ukrainians beat Romania (3:1) and Azerbaijan (3:0), and also lost to the Czech Republic (1:3).
The Ukrainian women’s team won not without problems Austria – 3:1. The Ukrainians won the first set, but lost in the second. In the third game, the blue-yellows left no chance for their opponents (25:14), and in the fourth they put the pressure on their opponents in the end (26:24).
The Ukrainians won their fourth victory in the current tournament. Earlier, Ivan Petkov’s team beat Slovenia (3:2), Estonia (3:0) and Slovakia (3:0).
In the next round, the Ukrainian men’s team will play against Portugal, and the women’s team will meet with the Czech Republic. The fights are scheduled for May 31st.
