Ukraine won five medals of different denominations at the stage World Challenge Cup 2024 in artistic gymnasticswhich took place in Varna, Bulgaria.
Received two awards Nazar Chepurny. The Ukrainian won gold in the vault, showing a result of 14.383 points. In addition, Nazar mined silver medal in competitions on parallel bars. For Chepurny, gold in the vault was his second of the season after success at the World Cup in Baku.
Won silver on uneven bars Elizaveta Gubareva. Diana Loboc took second place in the balance beam competition. This is the debut silver medal of the Challenge Cup for the 15-year-old athlete.
Oleg Vernyaev won a bronze medal in ring exercises. The Ukrainian won the series awards for the first time since 2017.
The next stage of the World Challenge Cup will take place in the Slovenian Kopter from May 30 to June 2. The final competition of the series this season will take place in Szombathely, Hungary, from October 4 to 6.
