Tonight the Ukrainian team will play in a knockout match
Ukrainian esports team Monte started with a defeat from Team Vitality (Nuke – 12:16) at the tournament IEM Dallas 2024 By CS2.
Monte won the first half with a score of 9:3, but allowed their opponents to make a comeback. In overtime, Team Vitality, one of the best teams in the world, brought the matter to victory.
Monte fell into the lower bracket of Group A and will play Team Falcons in a knockout match tonight. Vitality will meet G2 Esports in the semi-finals of the upper bracket.
In mid-May, Monte presented an updated line-up. The Ukrainian team was joined by Slovakian Martin “STYKO” Stick and Frenchman Ali “hAdji” Ainousse.
Also today, the Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere will hold its first match at IEM Dallas 2024. The first opponent of “Born to Win” is BIG. The match starts no earlier than 22:30.
IEM Dallas 2024 runs from May 27 to June 2. The prize fund is $250 thousand.
