The Ukrainian team suffered two defeats in the group stage and took the final 13-16th place
Ukrainian esports organization Monte performed unsuccessfully at the tournament IEM Dallas 2024 By CS2.
Monte lost in the lower bracket match of Group A Team Falcons — 0:2 (Dust II — 10:13, Nuke — 4:13). In the first match of the tournament, the Ukrainian team lost to Team Vitality (Nuke – 12:16).
Thus, Monte took the final 13-16th place and earned 4 thousand dollars.
Let us remind you that in mid-May Monte presented an updated lineup. The Ukrainian team was joined by Slovakian Martin “STYKO” Stick and Frenchman Ali “hAdji” Ainousse.
Today the semifinal match of the upper bracket of Group B will be hosted by Natus Vincere. “Born to Win” will play with Team Spirit, starting at 20:00 Kyiv time. The winner of the confrontation will advance to the playoffs of the tournament.
IEM Dallas 2024 runs from May 27 to June 2. The prize fund is $250 thousand.
