As learned, Russian figure skaters Karina Akopova /Nikita Rakhmanin practicing pair skating, are considering changing their sporting citizenship.
The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) will make the decision to release the duo this winter. The priority country for athletes to continue their careers is Armenia.
Earlier, reported that singles skater Sofia Titova received an exemption from the FFKKR and will represent Armenia.
Last season, the Akopova/Rakhmanin duo took fifth place during the second stage of the Russian Grand Prix.
The skaters train in Sochi under the guidance of coach Fedor Klimov.
