Another UPL club is considering the keeper’s candidacy
As became known Sports Arena36-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper Denis Boyko may continue his career in the UPL.
Three Premier League clubs are interested in the goalkeeper’s services. Among them is Kovalevsky Ear And Carpathianswho will play in the elite division of Ukraine after a successful campaign in the First League 2023/24.
Today Boyko officially became a free agent, ending his collaboration with Polesie. In one season with Wolves, Boyko played 24 games in all tournaments, conceding 21 goals. In eight meetings, the goalkeeper managed to keep a clean sheet.
In February, Boyko received a UEFA coaching diploma of category B. The 36-year-old goalkeeper successfully completed the goalkeeper coaching course.
Boyko is a Dynamo graduate. The goalkeeper also played in Dnepr, Besiktas, and played on loan in Obolon, Krivbass and Malaga. Together with Dynamo, Denis became the champion of Ukraine, won the Ukrainian Cup twice and the country’s Super Cup three times.
Kolos took 11th place in the UPL championship 2023/24. Karpaty were promoted ahead of schedule in April and will play in the UPL in the 2024/25 season. Miron Markevich’s team failed to become the champion of the First League, losing to Ingulets in the last round.
