Ukrainian men’s volleyball team lost in a close fight Poland in the control match – 2:3.
The blue-yellows won the first game – 25:21. The next two sets went with a clear advantage for the current European champions.
Ukraine was able to snatch victory in the fourth game. In the tiebreaker, the Poles again seized the initiative, bringing the match to victory.
The match with Poland took place in preparation for the final matches of the Golden Euroleague 2024. Raul Lozano’s men will play Portugal on May 31 and then meet Belgium on June 2.
The Ukrainian national team takes third place in the Golden Euroleague 2024, claiming to reach the semi-finals of the competition. The blue-yellows won three victories over Romania (3:1), Azerbaijan (3:0) and Luxembourg (3:0), and suffered one defeat from the Czech Republic (1:3).
