A Greek club won the European Cup for the first time in history
Mentor Olympiacos Jose Luis Mendilibar commented on his team’s victory over Fiorentina in the Conference League final.

In the decisive match of the tournament, Olympiacos triumphed over Fiorentina (1:0). The winning goal was scored by Ayoub El-Kaabi in the 116th minute of the match. For the Greeks, this victory was the first in European competition.
The European club season ends on June 1, when Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund play in the Champions League final. The meeting will take place in London at Wembley Stadium.
