Choreographer Alexey Zheleznyakov responded to reports that Russian figure skater Sofia Titova will represent Armenia.
Earlier, reported that Titov was considering changing his sports citizenship and playing for Armenia.
— I think that the change of citizenship of Sofia Titova is a small loss for our figure skating. As they say, the detachment will not notice the loss of a fighter, ”Zheleznyakov told Metaratings.ru.
15-year-old Titova is the winner of the stages of the Russian Youth Grand Prix and a medalist at the Moscow Championship. Last season, the figure skater won first place in the tournament for the prizes of Angelica Krylova and Oleg Ovsyannikov, and third place in the All-Russian competition “Heart of Russia”. She trains at the Evgeni Plushenko Academy.
