Previously, Indonesia, Turkey and India announced their desire to host the Summer Olympics in 2036.

The Minister of Sports said he is ready to begin the application process for the opening of our headquarters with a view to 2036,” Borich said, as quoted by Tecera.
The Summer Olympics will take place in Paris in 2024, Los Angeles in 2028 and Brisbane in 2032.
