Athletistic/ Others. Former Russian Formula 1 driver Daniil Kvyat, who made his debut at the NASCAR racing series in Indianapolis (USA), has retired, journalist Bob Pokrass said.
“Kvyat’s debut ended after 43 laps (suspension issue ended his day),” Pokrass wrote on social media.
Earlier in the course of the race at Indianapolis, the car of Kvyat, who plays for the Heseberg team, stalled on lap 29. The Russian stopped the car in the start area, after which it was evacuated to garages, where engineers tried to identify the problem.
Possible battery and electrical issues have been reported.
