“I know that there has been no contact from our federation regarding the transfer of Adelia Petrosyan. We are proud that she has such a last name. It’s interesting who contacted her, maybe we have a second Armenian federation (laughs),” Zakaryan told .
Earlier, reported that another Russian figure skater, Sofya Titova, was considering competing for Armenia. Zakarian confirmed that she belonged to a detachment of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR).

Last season, Petrosyan became Russian champion and won the Russian Grand Prix final.
