The first racket of the world Iga Šwiętek from Poland and Italian Yasmine Paolini will play in the women’s singles final Roland Garros 2024.
The Polish tennis player defeated the third seeded Coco Gauff from the USA in two sets. Iga took the first set confidently, then dropped her own serve in the second game before winning the segment 5:1 to close out the match.
Paolini defeated the “neutral” tennis player Mirra Andreeva. The Italian only had one break in the first set, after which Ioannina allowed her opponent to take only one game in the second set.
The final match of the women’s category will take place on June 8. Swiatek will defend his last year’s title. Iga has won three of the last four Roland Garros tournaments.
