Athletistic/ Figure Skating. The 2018 Olympic champion in women’s individual skating, Russian Alina Zagitova, avoided answering a question about the consequences of the withdrawal of Russian athletes from international competitions.
In March, the ISU suspended Russian athletes from participating in competitions under its auspices.
“I don’t want to answer this question. It will remain unanswered,” Zagitova said as quoted by Match TV.
Zagitova suspended her career in December 2019. Now the figure skater is pursuing higher education.
Previously, Zagitova hosted the Ice Age show with Alexei Yagudin for two seasons.
