“If Arisha had continued to study at the academy, everything would have been free” – Rudkovskaya about the trial against Parsegova’s parents

Wife of double Olympic champion Evgenia Plushenko and co-owner of Plushenko’s Angels Academy, Yana Rudkovskaya, spoke in detail about the situation with the lawsuit aimed at recovering funds from the parents of figure skater Arina Parsegova.

In 2023, Parsegova left Plushenko’s academy and began working with the honored coach of Russia. Eteri Tutberidze . On Thursday, Rudkovskaya told that they were going to sue the figure skater’s parents for her departure.

— Yana Rudkovskaya, like her husband, two-time Olympic champion and Russian national team coach Evgeni Plushenko, was admitted to their private, funded academy: basic sports training, additional classes, ice, extra ice, hotel accommodation on the territory of the training base, skates, suits and other equipment, staging programs for a very good and talented girl – Arisha Parsegova, who was truly loved.

The girl arrived with double jumps and left with the 3-3 stunts and a quarter quadruple toe loop. Mom, with tears in her eyes from happiness, signed the agreement, assuring that Arisha would never leave Evgeniy Viktorovich anywhere, and signed monthly acts that recorded the money that we spent on her daughter. Arisha was not funded by the state! And when we signaled to them, having seen the result of the work of Evgeniy and his team, they ran headlong!

Not a word of gratitude for the two years of work of the entire technical staff of Plushenko’s Angels and for the 1.9 million invested in Arina for the year (the agreement was valid one year before their departure, so the amounts were activated from the moment it was signed, but in fact the money was invested twice as much). How many specialists worked with her! And they left with the message: “Evgeny Viktorovich does ultra-si jumps with other athletes, but my Arisha needs quads!” The child was then 11 years old. And the girl was very sick this season. Which quads? Hurt or kill a child? And this was said by a mother who brought her child two years ago with double jumps.

Our lawyers wrote a pre-trial request to my mother: return the money (read the contract). No one expected a “thank you” from our technical staff. Mom told the lawyers how poor and unhappy she was, that the family had lost their only source of funds and therefore couldn’t continue to honor the agreement… (she just forgot to add that she didn’t had not paid a cent under this agreement! And everything would be fine, except for one “but”: a vacation abroad, new luxurious dresses for Arishe, only premium taxis… Of course, my husband and I are very nice people, but there is one limit to everything.

The terms of the agreement signed between the academy and Arina’s mother are very simple: if Arina studies at Plushenko’s Angels for the entire term of the agreement, then all expenses are borne solely by us. The family pays nothing. If Arisha continued to study at the academy, it would be free for the family, – wrote Rudkovskaya on the Telegram channel .
