European champion Nikita Shleicher won the three-meter springboard diving event at the BetBoom Russian Championship in Kazan.
Based on the results of six jumps, Schleicher scored 478.00 points. Alexander Cherepakhin (456.10) won silver, Grigory Ivanov (449.55) closed the top three.
Olympic silver medalist Evgeny Kuznetsov (446.65) took fifth place and did not qualify for the BRICS Games in this program event. The champion and vice-champion of Russia receive tickets to the tournament.
The BRICS Games will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from June 12 to 23.
